1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and participation in Milky Mommas ("we", "us", or "the Platform"), including waitlist membership, early access pilot features, referral reward systems, and community discussion boards. By submitting your information or creating an account, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Crucial Non-Medical Advice Disclaimer
Informational & Peer Support Notice
Milky Mommas provides peer-to-peer encouragement, educational lactation guides, and community support. The content and discussions on Milky Mommas do NOT constitute medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, obstetric advice, or pediatric medical directives. Always seek the counsel of a licensed physician, certified obstetrician, pediatrician, or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) regarding medical conditions, infant failure-to-thrive concerns, or medication safety during lactation. Never delay or disregard professional clinical advice because of peer content on the Platform.
3. Community Standards & Conduct
Milky Mommas is founded on empathy, kindness, and psychological safety. All members must adhere to respectful communication:
- Zero Tolerance for Mom-Shaming: Harassment, condescending behavior, judgmental rhetoric, or hostility toward feeding choices (breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, or combination feeding) is strictly prohibited.
- Commercial Solicitation: Unsolicited advertising, unauthorized multi-level marketing (MLM), or sale of unverified lactation supplements or medical devices is barred.
- Respect for Privacy: Never repost, screenshot, or distribute photos, personal stories, or infant images shared by members in private discussion areas without explicit written consent.
4. Membership, Subscriptions & Referrals
Waitlist participants may receive early member perks, referral badges, and unlockable rewards. Referral milestones must be earned through genuine invitations to actual individuals. Fraudulent self-referrals, bot generation, or automated invitation spam will result in immediate disqualification and account termination.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Milky Mommas, its founders, and moderators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from peer interactions, platform downtime, or user-generated community advice.
